Very happy that woxy continues w/o interruption. Glad this went so smoothly. I don't know if I could have handled another drawn out "now what" scenario.

Now a very important question. When will the woxy/future sounds t-shirts be available?

Seriously,I know you guys have a ton of important things to deal with now,but when the dust settles I do hope you'll consider this.

Long live woxy!!!

Since I'm just a lackey on the staff - and not speaking for anyone associated with the station - I think (rather, I KNOW) that the joy in listening to the station is that you have no idea what you're going to hear next.

A Top10 show or People's Choice Countdown or whatever the hell you want to call it really destroys this purpose, and NOT having a recap show sets us apart from everything else that's out there.

And maybe it's just me, but I don't like living in the past.

I don't know how I missed this thread before, but better later than never. Good luck WOXY 4.0!!!

The transition from lala to Future Sounds was so seamless that I somehow missed the whole thing

No kidding. I'm not sure how I missed this before either. A BIG thanks to Bill and the lala family for taking on WOXY.com and bringing it back from the brink. This is just the next evolution of WOXY as the brand continues to grow.

The Future of Rock 'N Roll. . . continues on!!!

I knew strange things were amiss at the Circle K. Not a regulat Lala.com site frequenter, I went to it a month or so ago and didn't see anything about woxy. Granted, I didn't really spend a lot of time looking, but I thought it was odd. Then, all of the sudden, like a month ago, I could finally get on www.woxy.com, not the weird, conveluded way I used to have to connect at work. Plain old woxy.com was working again. (second tip that there was change in the air)

My excuse for not seeing this thread is that my compooter at home bit the dust, and I don't always have the luxury of time at work to read everything here.

So welcome, Future Sounds! Glad to have you on board. Thanks, Bill for keeping us going thus far!

btw- (just cuz I'm an asshole) if F.S. has the dough to but woxy.com, can't they spring for a better microphone? it sounds like they're using a speaker-phone mic during their show, like the tunes, but the studio mics are icky. (thump)

As much as I loved listening to Future Sounds 13, I had to laugh at this comment.

Podcasts would be awesome. I accidentally closed my internet browser several times while listening. Pain in the but that the whole show has to reload.

good! I've only heard it a time or two, while driving home from work or something, and I was wondering the deal. I've had no time to investigate the show or anything. I am glad that was fixed! See, good things are already happening!

Lissy Trullie - U Bleed U (Lounge)

that was interesting....she kept me thinking about new york and CBGB's. not sure why exactly....blondie? patti smith? something about her sound took me to that era.
good stuff.
